I’m fine.

Like I wrote in my last post, I am out of the hospital now. Here is a new picture of mine, just to show you, that I am fine again. With me on the picture is my cat Rosi. She is born in spring 1992! A pretty old lady, isn’t she?

Prophetic Weekend - Report 1

Tuesday, 23. January 2007 15:31

Due to the heavy storm we decided to take a one night break in Frankfurt before we went on traveling to Berlin. I stayed with a very lovely young family from the local JesusFreaks group and had a very good sleep that night. Next morning I met with my two co-travelers and we went on the “Autobahn (highway) to go to Berlin. Early in the moring I had some noise going on in my abdomen but I thought, a little bit of diarrhoea shouldn’t be a reason to not move on with my trip. After around two and a half hours on the Autobahn I got so sick that we had to stop at the side of the street. Vomiting and diarrhoea was what kept me busy from this moment on for two days and one night. My condition would become so worse during the next minutes that our driver decided to make an emergency call and ask the guys on the line what she should do. They asked her how the colour of my face and my lips was and they said palely face and grey/blue lips. They decided to come over and take me into an ambulance. So I was brought to a local hospital and stayed there until Monday.

Thank God, the precious sister who prepared the weekend with me and the other leaders we had invited managed the weekend without me. I am so glad about that. I already received one report on what happened and about all the experiences the teams had on the streets. I will add some testimonies to the blog as soon as I’ll know more.

Thanks for your prayers. I think the fact, that the weekend went on without me and they didn’t cancel it is a reason to be very thankful. Also that I feel much better today and that I was released from the hospital on monday shows, that God blessed me and listened to your prayers.

No fear here! No storm here!

Thursday, 18. January 2007 12:25

Please pray for Germany and our weekend of prophetic evangelism. A hurricane (not a whirlwind, but a huge storm) with a speed of around 150 km/h has been announced on the news to hit Germany on today (Thursday, 18th of January 2007). I will travel to Berlin by train and car today and I’ll leave here in the afternoon. Please pray for protection and health. To me this looks like a prophetic sign for our weekend. God will get Berlin like in a storm. He definitly will use our team to reach people on the streets and places of Berlin. There is no doubt. This has a purpose!

I fear not, because the good shepherd Jesus Christ is with me always. He lives in me through his Holy Spirit and I am protected!

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF GERMANY AND EUROPE.

red peppers for our faith

Tuesday, 16. January 2007 14:25

Today I added David D’Louhy’s Blog to my blogroll. He ist a student at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. On his blog it is also mentioned, that “he is in passionate pursuit of the presence of God. He desires to give every person a genuine encounter with God and for all to be saved, healed, and delivered“. Since a while I was looking around for someone who is blogging about his/her experiences at this school. Thanks to John Baw, who mentioned David on his Blog first. I first met David on MySpace, but didn’t know about his blog then. So I really recommend David’s Blog to you and I also recommend a weekly dose of the weekly sermons from Bethel Church.

I’ve recommended David’s Blog on my German blog as well. Sadly David is posting in English only. Is anybody out there willing to send me to iBSSM? ;-) Then I would blog about my experiences there in both English and German.

Weekend of Prophetic Evangelism

Monday, 15. January 2007 7:00

Please pray for my team and me as we are going to Berlin (capital of Germany) on Thursday (01/18/2007) evening and will have a weekend of prophetic street evangelism from the 19th of January until the 21st of January 2007. We will be a group of 15 people and go out on the streets in 5 groups of 3. We planned to ask God where to go, whom we should talk to and what to tell them. Most of the participants of this weekend already have some experience in the prophetic and all of them are revelatory people.

I expect God to do whatever He wants to do, but that in a maximum amount of love, authority and power.

This morning I listened to a message by Bill Johnson from Bethel Church in Redding, California. He talked about the topic “Where is Jesus? and explained out of various examples from the bible, that Jesus was and is not always evident to people at first. He is not hiding himself from us, but for us. Bill said, that Jesus wants us to look for the places where He is at work. Jesus wants us to look at the messengers He is using, that might be unusual to our frame in which we imagine “a messenger of God and how he should appear. From the very birth of Jesus didn’t happen what was expected to happen. And still today Jesus is changing the way He delivers the message of the kingdom being at hand and the people He uses to deliver that message.

As I understood Bill, Jesus permanently challenges us to not hang on the same strategies, outreach programmes and ways of “doing it. He challenges us with new things happening, new ways of expression and so on. It is our task to search for Him and find Him. There is no changing of shadows at Him. He himself is not changing. But the ways He expresses things continually change. That is quiet a challenge, but it encourages me to not get to distracted from God because of myself. I don’t have time to be to selfish to serve Him and look out for where He is at the very moment I think I should minister to someone or receive God’s ministry through someone.

So again, please pray for us and and if you have any insights, if God tells you anything about this weekend I’d like to hear from you.

Holy Spirit - power or person?

Saturday, 13. January 2007 23:59

“If the Holy Spirit is a power, we’ll want to get hold of it.

If the Holy Spirit is a person, we’ll want Him to get hold of us.

If the Holy Spirit is a power, we’ll want it to accomplish our will and whim.

If the Holy Spirit is a divine person, we’ll want to surrender more to Him in awe and wonder.

If the Holy Spirit is a power, we’ll be proud we have it and feel superior to those who do not.

If the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, we’ll be humbled that in His great love the very Third Person of the Trinity has chosen to dwell within us.

cracking

Thursday, 11. January 2007 1:14

Recently (well, it’s been a while ago I’ve to admit, it was at the end of last year) I visited friends in Dresden, East Germany:

On thursdays they have there regular “fire meeting. I take time to visit it almost everytime I am in Dresden. They meet to have some fun, food, juice, prayer, hearing God, watching revival videos, blessing each other, talking and so on.

Anyway, on the thursday I am talking about we had a silent time where we wanted to hear from God. Suddenly a plastic bottle was cracking really loud. I thought by myself: “A plastic bottle… well, they do crack from times to times. And suddenly there was this impression in me. God said: “No, that was with purpose! And then I thought: “Sure….! I’ll better go back concentrating on God and hearing His voice. Again my Daddies voice: “No, that was really with purpose. I did that, your Daddy. I wanted to show you that I am not a ‘genie in a bottle’. And because I am not such a thing, your aren’t a ‘bottle’ (in Germany we use the term bottle for a ‘twerp’ or ‘twit’, well simply an idiot). Cause I live in you and because of that you can’t be an idiot!

Super! Thanks heavenly Daddy! That was very funny and encouraging! Even though I didn’t feel that bad at that time, it still was encouraging for the rest of the group and maybe for some readers of this post as well.
