1 - New and unknown

Sunday, 16. August 2009 1:06

In March this year I decided to stay in Wales until God is going to tell me to go to another place on His beautiful planet earth. The 2 years I wanted to check if living and surviving in Wales was possible weren’t exactly over, but I kind of sensed that it was time to make a decision. I prayed and thought about it for a week and decided to stay on. At the time I was still living in a shared house in Barry town centre. Not the place where I wanted to be. I wanted to live in Gibbonsdown, the place where my church is doing all the social and community work.

Short after my decision to stay on, I started talking to one of the guys from church who was thinking about moving house inside Gibby. We prayed about it and both of us had the impression that it would be good for us to look around for a house for rent and start a new house share in Gibby. Around the end of May we found a house that we wanted to check. The day of the viewing came and even though it was the first one we looked at, we both loved the house from the first time we saw it. Believe it or not, it became the house for our house share. We handed in our notice to our individual landlords and moved at the end of June.

This place is just a little piece of paradise. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac at one end of Gibbonsdown and according to Google Maps we’ve got one of the biggest back gardens in the area. We managed to negioate the rent amount a little lower then the initial request of the landlady. We are both under the impression that this a place where one can just take a deep breath, relax and be oneself. The landlady turned out to be a very friendly lady and her partner is brilliant as well.

I’m glad that I’m back in Gibbonsdown. 18 months was a long waiting time and I didn’t end up getting a council house, even though I was threatened by becoming homeless at least twice. They just didn’t see me as a priority. But I didn’t want to cheat myself into the scheme either.

So I’m back in Gibbonsdown. The first part of the good news. More to come. Watch this space…

What Jesus has to say about it:

Tuesday, 2. December 2008 2:13

Matthew 6:19-34 NIV

(19) “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

(20) But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

(21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(22) “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.

(23) But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

(24) “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

(25) “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

(26) Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

(27) Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

(28) “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labour or spin.

(29) Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these.

(30) If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

(31) So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

(32) For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

(33) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

(34) Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

A shift in Europe. Freedom of God released!

Monday, 5. May 2008 1:41

I recently watched a recorded meeting with Heidi Baker at the Heaven on Earth Conference in Rotterdam, Netherlands. There is a moment during her speech at the conference, where she holds a sword in her hand and starts to battle. The following words came to me, while I watched this:

I’m just watching the Heidi Baker evening clip. And I’m at the part where she is striking the sword! Wow…. Such a release of freedom…. I can see this having an effect on the whole of Europe! Especially Western Europe. The East was already in much more freedom. But the West is coming into agreement with the Fathers freedom now! Jesus!!! A total strike against the religious spirits.

God is turning the lights on! There is not much space left for darkness. The difference between the light and the darkness will be observed in a more radical way! It will be known who really follows God, who lives in intimacy with Him and who doesn’t. Wake up! Collect the oil for your lamps! Don’t waste your time… Be ready. Don’t sleep. Don’t be lazy. Enter the rest of God! The rest of our Heavenly Father. Minister out of His rest and stop the human strive! But there is a difference between laziness and the rest of the Father!

FREEDOM FOR EUROPE… The religious spirits are being driven out… People will be offended, people will stumble. But lots and lots of people are to receive help, will be released, come to Christ and will go to where ever God is sending them. Don’t leave the fellowship of the church of God. Love His church! Love the religious people! Love them until religion falls off them and they are released too. Love them to death, so that they can rise in Christ!

Who wants to give himself/herself? Who is giving himself/herself to the Holy Spirit? He wants to be in charge!

Change is coming. Change is here. For some it is easy to crasp, others are totally blind for it. Be among the ones who see and take no offense!

living today

Monday, 16. July 2007 19:16

Abba & I, I & Abba went on a walk together. We had a long chat. I talked to Him about sins and mistakes from the past and sorrows I had about the coming next few weeks. This whole “program” tried to control my thoughts and I was giving into it. But then I told Abba about it all and He gave me a very calm, but intensive answer: “Big boy, live today! Today is important. Yesterday is over. The sins and mistakes of the past are known to Me, they are forgiven and gone and you have allowed Me to change you. Give me the sorrows about tomorrow. You’re walking on my path and there you can expect all my support and care. Live today! Live with Me today! Be aware of My glory in and upon you. Look at Me. Ask Me what I’m doing in situations and then do the same. Follow my model. You have My love, My power … I Myself am in you. Live today & let Me live through you.

Thought that might be an encouragement to some of you.

Personal comment:
I don’t believe most of the stuff Al-Jazeerah is airing, but even if this is simple muslim propaganda, it still serves our cause. ;-)

what an amazing weekend

Wednesday, 21. February 2007 21:30

army2

From the 15th to the 19th of April 2007 our seminary closed its doors, cause the pipework of our heating system needed to be renewed and they didn’t want us to sit in ice cold rooms for our studies. During this time I was invited to visit some friends of mine. They are a familie of 6 - the two parents, three Boys and one girl. I could have stayed in my own appartment, but I wanted to spend time with these very close friends. They live in a small village with about 60 inhabitants and only a few other houses stand besides their house. All around this area you’ll find a lot of fields and meadows, horses and a lot of cats. 4 of these cats belong to this family. I have the honour to be the godfather of their oldest son. He is someone I am very proud in. His going forward with God gives me a lot of joy. His daily life does also have his heights and depths, but I can cleary see how God gives him strength during the depths and that he grows in wisdom. God is definitly guiding him.
I brought some material with me to take some time to learn for a test I had to write in systematic theology. But anyway, I was really looking forward to enjoy my weekend. Thursday and Friday I took some time to arrive and to relax. B. was cooking some tasty meals and we just spend time together as family and friends. From time to time I spend time alone with God in my room.
On a few evenings I opened SkypeCast with topics like “Is God weird?” or “God’s weird children…” or “Destiny Words”. I also participated in a few existing SkypeCast about similar topics. I had some really good talks and discussion, but I got a little frustrated during my 6th SkypeCast, when I came to the conclusion, that many people circle around a few topics when it comes to talk about Jesus. Many tried to focus our discussion on topics like evolution or creation or even the crusades of the Middle Ages. (Why do some people always ask the same questions?)
On saturday morning B. celebrated her birthday with a brunch in the soup kitchen of our church. All the regular guests (the poor of the city where the church is located) where invited and also all staff members. The room was solemnly decorated and many of our regular guest where positivly shocked when they came in. I had a few very good talks and felt really comfortable among these people.

glorious fire

As soon as we came back home we took a noon break and I made a plan with U. to meet again sometime in the later afternoon to ask God to show us people we could pray and collect prophetic words for. U. is moving in the prophetic a far longer time then me and I somehow had the feeling that this time would be wonderful for both of us and that God somehow will share the power behind prophetic gift of my friend with me. So as we met we asked God to show us names of some people and wrote them down. Then we went from name to name and asked God to give us a word, an impression or a picture about / for this person. That was sooooo awesome, guys! Wow, I’m still amazed. And as I thought before, I soon discovered that God was really sharing some of the power and ability U. has in prophetic realm with me. I got so encouraged and empowered. No, U. is not missing a thing now, the opposite is true, he grew in his gift during that time, cause whoever is ready to share or give something, will receive more from God. Words for the people we prayed for where flowing like a river and we wrot them down. That had nothing to do with the occult practice of “automatic writing”. I was able to start and stop typing whenever I wanted to. I tell you guys, it was so glorious, such an awesome time! So many impression at one time, God really impressed me during that afternoon. And I was moved even more by the simplicity with which God was moving among us. Nothing about this time of collecting prophetic words for people seemed to be difficult. I was soooo easy! Among many other words U. had a word for a friend of mine, who is living far away from where I live now and I didn’t tell U. any detail about this fellow. But he saw this young man right before his eyes and described him and told me words of destiny about his life. After he finished telling me these words, I showed him a picture of F. my friend and U. almost fell from his chair and with amazed eyes he said: “That is him! That is the guy I saw in my vision! That is exactly him, wow!”
Sunday morning we went to church and during the service God sovereignly moved among us and changed the program. After the sermon the preacher called out to ask God to forgive us where we went away from our first love and where we wanted to hold areas of our life under our own control instead of God’s. During this time of confession and prayer we really felt God moving among us. After the sermon we would normally close the service and go to the coffeebar to spend some time in good fellowship. But this sunday everything was different. This time of prayer lasted for a long time and when it came to an end God challenged me to go forward and share a word with the church. He told me to ask them: “Church, what was going on during the last few minutes? Are we willing to let God do things like that in our services on a regular bases? Is He allowed to take over our services and to shake the nice schedules we had planned for it?” A strong word and it was not easy for me to deliver it, believe me. But the church received it in a good way. Well, I don’t know if they really got the point here, but I hope so.
During sunday afternoon my friend U. and I had our second prophetic meeting and we went on from where we had finished the day before. In Monday I went back to my appartment and I was tired, refreshed and strenghened at the same time. During this week I felt the amazing effect from what God did during this weekend. I feel like God has placed me on a greater territory and has entrusted me more things then before. At the same time He continues to call me into more intimacy with Him.

red peppers for our faith

Tuesday, 16. January 2007 14:25

Today I added David D’Louhy’s Blog to my blogroll. He ist a student at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. On his blog it is also mentioned, that “he is in passionate pursuit of the presence of God. He desires to give every person a genuine encounter with God and for all to be saved, healed, and delivered“. Since a while I was looking around for someone who is blogging about his/her experiences at this school. Thanks to John Baw, who mentioned David on his Blog first. I first met David on MySpace, but didn’t know about his blog then. So I really recommend David’s Blog to you and I also recommend a weekly dose of the weekly sermons from Bethel Church.

I’ve recommended David’s Blog on my German blog as well. Sadly David is posting in English only. Is anybody out there willing to send me to iBSSM? ;-) Then I would blog about my experiences there in both English and German.
