God provides! A testimony.

Saturday, 11. August 2007 17:19

The sunday at the beginning of the week in which I planned to move to Great Britian I had applied for a job with one of the most established companies in Britian. I applied for it online and didn’t really expect them to come back on me very soon. I applied for a number of other jobs with other companies, while I was still in Germany. But none of them would invite me in. On Tuesday I took the plane to Britian and arrived at my hosts house late in the night. The next morning their mobile rung and it was the company calling whom I had send my application to. They were asking for me for a 5-minute interview on the phone. God helped me with that and I answered all the question this fellow had. After the interview was over, he invited me over for a “face-to-face-interview” to their main office for the next monday, the 6th of August. Wow, that was really fast.

Friday the same week I met with some folks from NEO-Gibby team. We had a really blessed time of prayer and one of the girls had a vision. She saw me as an embryo in a mothers womb and she interpreted as follows: “In this vision you’ve been fed through the umbilical cord and you were in a womb. That means, you can rest. God is going to provide for you and you are in a safe place!” This really encouraged me.

The interview was a test at the same time. The tried the speed of my typing and how many mistakes I would make while I’m typing fast. The whole interview thing went on for about 1,5 hours.

Wednesday night I used the bathroom. I sat there and prayed. God talked to me, saying: “Do you really want this job at “….”? You know I can give you a better job, right?” And I said: “Yes, I know that. But I just think I wanna start somehwere. I could still apply for other jobs while working there.” And then He responded: “Alright, be prepared. They’re going to call you tomorrow and tell you, that you have been accepted as a new employee.”

Thursday morning I took a shower. During washing my hair, God told me: “Be quick. Prepare yourself, “…..” is going to call you soon and tell you that you have been given this job.” As soon as I was ready showered I went downstairs and told my hosts to please turn their mobile on, cause I believe the company is going to call to tell me, that I have the job, because God told me so. Andrew timed the next minutes. After 34 minutes the company called and told me, that I have the job and that my first workday will be the 3rd of September 2007.

I’m really impressed how God is managing all this here. The next thing I believe I’ll see, will be a very good accommodation. A very good flat or shared flat somewhere in Gibbonsdown, Barry. I’m sure I’ll find that soon. Glory to God!

Wanted!

Sunday, 20. May 2007 21:15

As it seems everything leads to the point, that I will move to Great Britain in August this year. During my time of bible college I joined a pentecostal church near my place. I’m still a member of the Salvation Army in Chemnitz, but I had to have a church on-site. And the pastor of this pentecostal church and I became friends over the years. A few days ago he told me, that they as church will only let me go, if a guy from Great Britain will come over here in exchange for me. ;-) Surely he was teasing me with that. But I still take his statement somewhat serious. So, if there is any christian man out there who would like to work alongside a nice little pentecostal church in the west of Germany, feel free to send an application via EMail to pastor[at]terebinthe.de ( replace the [at] with an @ )! Our Pastors Name is Frank Krause. This won’t be a paid job, but it is not too hard to find a job over here, if you have a drivers license and you’re willing to drive a few kilometers to your workplace. You should know some german before you come here! This is the churches website: www.terebinthe.de (only in german)

Impressions of Gibbonsdown, Barry, Wales

Sunday, 6. May 2007 22:36

A few pictures I took in Gibbonsdown. A council housing area in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, UK. I fell in love with this place. Well, let me say, I think God is pouring out His love for this place and He decided to pour it into my heart as well. I’m really looking forward to going back there. Please pray for me as I’m looking for a flat or house to rent and a well paid part time or full time job. Thank You!

The New Face of British Christianity

Friday, 16. February 2007 23:00

In his newest column J. Lee Grady from Strang’s Charisma Magazine wrote:

Old churches are crumbling, but God has not given up on England. Today immigrant Christians are evangelizing the nation.

and

“Some people say, ‘Oh, the church is dying in England,’ says Harold Presley, a Pentecostal church planter from the United States who has worked in England for 17 years. “It’s true that a lot of the beautiful old church buildings are decaying, but underneath the surface there is a bustling spiritual movement.

and then this prophetic word here:

During one evening service at Ashburnham I couldn’t hold back from releasing a prophetic word about the future of England. The Lord spoke to me and said: “A great thaw is coming to this land. Although things look desolate, as if winter has killed all the trees, I am bringing resurrection life to England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. The time of springtime has come. Though it looks desolate, if you could see in the spiritual realm you would see the buds have already appeared.

Hallelujah! That is something I needed to read! Yeah! One more conformation that it was not only my own plan to move to Great Britain! Thank You heavenly Daddy!!!

cracking

Thursday, 11. January 2007 1:14

Recently (well, it’s been a while ago I’ve to admit, it was at the end of last year) I visited friends in Dresden, East Germany:

On thursdays they have there regular “fire meeting. I take time to visit it almost everytime I am in Dresden. They meet to have some fun, food, juice, prayer, hearing God, watching revival videos, blessing each other, talking and so on.

Anyway, on the thursday I am talking about we had a silent time where we wanted to hear from God. Suddenly a plastic bottle was cracking really loud. I thought by myself: “A plastic bottle… well, they do crack from times to times. And suddenly there was this impression in me. God said: “No, that was with purpose! And then I thought: “Sure….! I’ll better go back concentrating on God and hearing His voice. Again my Daddies voice: “No, that was really with purpose. I did that, your Daddy. I wanted to show you that I am not a ‘genie in a bottle’. And because I am not such a thing, your aren’t a ‘bottle’ (in Germany we use the term bottle for a ‘twerp’ or ‘twit’, well simply an idiot). Cause I live in you and because of that you can’t be an idiot!

Super! Thanks heavenly Daddy! That was very funny and encouraging! Even though I didn’t feel that bad at that time, it still was encouraging for the rest of the group and maybe for some readers of this post as well.
