Giuseppe, the fortune teller
Last weekend I hat a very lonk talk to an almost “professional” clairvoyant who is only 16 years of age. He is talking to people about their future and is using regular skat cards for that. I met him via Skype and just had it on my heart to share the gospel with him. He claimed that he is also working with “angels”, so that was the point where I started my talk with him.
I asked him some questions about the angels and how he gets in contact with them and so on. That caught his interest and very soon he started to ask me, why I’m asking him these questions. So I told him about my relationship with Jesus Christ and also told him some stuff about angels from the bible. Then I asked him the question if he knew what the source for his power is and where all these informations he receives for his clients come from. Well, he didn’t know exactly. He just thought the informations come from the cards and because of his supernatural gifting.
I asked him, who the giver of this gift was. He didn’t know either. So I told him a little about the fallen angel, named lucifer. I also told him about the fall of satan and how he became the opponent to God. Until then we were just chatting via instant messages on Skype. But now he called me via Skype and so we started to talk with our real voices.
I offered him, to pray for him so that he may found out the truth. He allowed me to do so. After I blessed him, he told me: “Wow, there is such a power coming from you. I can feel it. And it has so much peace in it.” Soon he got more and more open and curious. He started to ask me more questions and told me some of his life’s secrets. I won’t share them here, of course. But I was deeply moved by what I heard and he again asked me to pray for him and to continue to pray for him. God started to show me some things that were going on in the spiritual realm during our talk and I started to command the demons around and in Giuseppe to be quiet. As soon as I did that, he became even more open. It was amazing! Well, he didn’t give his life to Jesus that evening, but I left him with a lot to think about.
On sunday we again had a short talk. He was totally different then the night before. This time he was joking around and seemed to try to deflect me from what I wanted to talk to him about. Then he went offline very soon.
Today we talked again and he started to curse me and was simply defending himself and the things he does. A lot of fear was in his words and it seemed as he didn’t know what to say anymore and so he just started to curse me. In one of our talks he told me, that he fears that God would take away his fortune telling gift as soon as he would start a life with Christ. And today he told me: “I will never give up that gift and I will never lose it.”
Why am I sharing this with you? Cause I’m asking you to join me in prayer for Giuseppe. Let us pray, that the truth in person - Jesus Christ - will set him completely free!

Wow!!! That´s really encouraging
I like this. You should just stay in the spiritual realm untill you get the final victory. I just think about the story of Johann Christoph Blumhardt. He had a 2-years-long-battle for the deliverance of women in his church who was extremly possessed by hundreds of demons. BUT: He got the final victory: While the last and most powerfull demon was leaving her he shouted with an extremly loud voice: Jesus is victor! Jesus is victor! And he was right
The name of the book is: Sieg über die Hölle
(= “Victory over the hell” but I didn´t found any engl. translation)

wow… bummer… well, the forces of evil HATE those situations in which Christians become active and thus enable the BODY OF CHRIST to work! The Holy Spirit is the biggest threat to hell there has ever been, and the evil forces are scared to death when HE shows up! .. but you planted a seed and we shall see what happens next.. let’s water that seed with prayer, yes!
but let’s never forget what kind of powers we’re dealing with.. spiritual warfare is waging heavily.. be sure I will pray for him, bro!

I’ve been praying into this.
I’m reminded of God’s promise in Joel 2 that in the last days “I shall pour out my Spirit on all flesh”. There is an increased spiritual awareness and thirst upon ALL flesh - not just within the church. This is a good thing, if we know how to lead people through their experiences.
I’ve met a lot of young people recently who are having spiritual experiences. Most of them have no frame of reference within which to understand what is happening. They need us to hang in there with them, thanking God for their gift, but educating them regarding the Kingdom Of God and the kingdom of darkness, and interceding for them in the spirit, bringing them to Jesus.
I have no doubt that Giuseppe will be amazingly on-fire for God once his eyes are fully opened, and amazingly gifted in the spiritual things.
Father. We break off every spiritual influence upon Giuseppe that does not bow the knee to Jesus: we bind you and we forbid you to continue operating. We welcome everything that worships Jesus, and we release the knowledge of the glory of God into this young man’s life. Holy Spirit, we ask you to brood over him and reveal Jesus to him. Jesus, we bring Giuseppe to you and we ask you to visit this young man in person and rock his world with our Father’s love. Thank you Lord.
